Our event aims to clarify what impact Iranian policy has on the Middle East. What is the impact of the Quds-Day? Why are politicians and media ignoring this event? Why is it supported by radical Islamists, right wing and left wing anti-imperialists? What can be done to counter the the destructive policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran?

Dr. Stephan Grigat, University of Vienna and scientific director of STOP THE BOMB. Author of „Die Einsamkeit Israels. Zionismus, die israelische Linke & die iranische Bedrohung“ (Konkret 2014).

Fathiyeh Naghibzadeh, Co-Founder of STOP THE BOMB in Germany and of the Mideast Freedom Forum Berlin. Co-editor of the film „headscarf as a system - does hair make people mad?“, author of political articles on the situation in Iran.

Thomas von der Osten-Sacken, executive director of Wadi e.V.. Publicist and co-editor of books on the Middle East. Most recent: "Verratene Freiheit - Der Aufstand im Iran und die Antwort des Westens". He writes about the region on his blog „Von Tunis nach Teheran“.
